Ardbeg Ten is revered around the world as the peatiest, smokiest, most complex single malt of them all. Yet it does not flaunt the peat, rather it gives way to the natural sweetness of the malt to produce a whisky of perfect balance.

Typically most whiskies are chill-filtered and reduced to a strength of 40% ABV. Ardbeg Ten, however, is non chill-filtered and has a strength of 46% ABV, thus retaining maximum flavour, at the same time giving more body and added depth. It’s whisky with none of the goodness taken out!

Corryvreckan takes its name from the famous whirlpool that lies to the north of Islay, where only the bravest souls dare to venture. Swirling aromas and torrents of deep, peaty, peppery taste lurk beneath the surface of this beautifully balanced dram. Like the whirlpool itself, Corryvreckan is not for the faint-hearted!

In 2009, Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible named Ardbeg Uigeadail ‘World Whisky of the Year’ – in praise of its “utter silky brilliance” and “complexity on a level only a handful of distilleries in the world can even dream of reaching.”

Ardbeg Uigeadail (pronounced ‘Oog-a-dal’) is a special vatting that marries Ardbeg’s traditional deep, smoky notes with luscious, raisiny tones of old ex-Sherry casks. It's non chill-filtered at high strength, which retains maximum flavour and gives more body and added depth.

Duncan Taylor’s Auld Reekie is a 10 year old bottling of Islay malt whisky. Each cask is specially selected for the pungent smoky character unique to Islay whisky, ensuring that Auld Reekie is worthy of the title. Balblair 1978 is a superbly balanced malt with warm aromas of honey, cloves, nutmeg and vanilla that come from the long years of maturation in American oak ex-bourbon barrels. Cloves, bananas and pears can also be detected in the aroma adding to the complexity of this exceptional Vintage.

Sweet, honey and toffee flavours combine with chocolate, lemons and oranges, leading to a rich, full-bodied, long-lasting, finish.

The barley malt is distilled in century-old stills, then aged in oak casks. During the maturation process, it gradually takes on its lovely amber color and develops magnificent aromas of pear, cherry, and lily. The finish hints at apples.

Bunnahabhain, Darach Ur (pronounced Dar-ach oor) means 'New Oak' in Scots Gaelic - this no-age-statement malt has been matured exclusively in virgin American oak casks.

Wonderful balance of sweet vanilla, oak dried fruits and creamy nut toffee, Smooth and creamy with citrus flavours and a hint of cinnamon.

The famous GlenDronach 18 year old, now renamed 'Allardice', is the third expression in the GlenDronach core range. This exceptional single sherried malt is non chill filtered and of natural colour. Matured in the finest Spanish Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 46%, this sublime richly sherried malt is truly unforgettable.

A great whisky holding all the flavours of all the Glenfarclas in one glass. Don’t be afraid of the 60% strength. The smoothness makes the 105 drinkable at cask strength, but I suggest adding a little water to fully explore its depth.

For its price to performance ratio, the Malt Maniacs named Glenfarclas 105 their ‘Bang for your Buck’ in 2004.

The Glenfiddich 15 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky is innovatively matured in three types of oak cask: sherry, bourbon and new oak, before being married in a unique, handcrafted Oregon pine Solera vat. Year on year, this Solera vat is never emptied but is always kept at least half full creating a deliciously harmonious and intense whisky which gets more complex and intriguing every year.

Produced in small, individually numbered batches, Glenfiddich 18 Year Old combines a touch of fruity sweetness from the Spanish Oloroso wood and an oakiness from the traditional American casks. After being married in wooden tuns for at least three months, its rich, mellow flavours come together, creating an exceptionally smooth and remarkably deep single malt Scotch whisky with notes of baked apple, spice and robust oak. Each batch is unique and is of an extraordinary quality.

Each Distillers Edition expression undergoes a second (or ‘double’) maturation in casks that have previously held a fortified wine.

After mellowing in a refill cask to develop the soft distillery character for a decade, a secondary maturation in a specifically chosen amontillado sherry wood cask ensures that all the good work continues. Balanced sweet and dry nose, enormous malt palate and long oaky, dry finish.

Selective maturation in new French Oak casks made from Limousin Oak creates a characterful and unique expression of The Glenlivet. The rich, spicy notes from French Oak interplay with the fruit and floral notes of The Glenlivet. Creamy, rich, smooth oakiness, a sweet tooth character with a refreshing nutty style.

"Nadurra" is the Gaelic word for natural. After 16 years in first fill American oak casks, Nadurra is bottled at natural cask strength and is not chillfiltered.

This Octave of Glenrothes 1969, bottled by Duncan Taylor at 40 years old, produced 72 bottles. Invigorated by 3 months of additional maturation in reconstructed ex sherrywood octave casks. Bottled at cask strength 45.8%

Green Spot is a pot still, distilled Irish whiskey, produced specifically for Mitchell & Son of Dublin, by Irish Distillers at the Midleton Distillery. Mitchell & Son wine merchants, were established in 1805, however, it is uncertain exactly when Green Spot was first produced. It is known though, that by the 1920s Jameson's Bow Street Distillery was supplying Mitchell & Son with at least 100 sherry hogheads of pot still distilled whiskey per annum. It was originally known as "Pat whiskey", and the labels carried the logo of a man on a green background. The Mitchells sold a range of whiskeys under their ‘Spot’ brand name. This rather peculiar name originated from their practice of marking casks of different ages with a daub or spot of coloured paint. There was a Blue Spot, Red Spot and even a Yellow Spot, but Green Spot emerged as their most popular whiskey. It is a vatting of seven and eight year old pot still whiskey, 25% of which has matured in sherry casks. Only 1200 bottles are produced each year, most of this is sold through Mitchell and Son's shop in Dublin. As a result, it is difficult to obtain outside of Ireland.

Green Spot was described by whiskey writer Jim Murray as "unquestionably one of the world's great whiskeys." and scored 94.5 points in his Whisky Bible 2011.

Highland Park 18 Year Old is an exceptionally fine whisky that builds on the world-class reputation already enjoyed by the 12 Year Old, added to which the rich, mature oak makes a truly smooth and satisfying malt.

An annual special release from the essential Islay distillery; Seventh of a series from the original distiller’s stocks.

Fabulously appetising. Less of the citrus of earlier expressions. A fine example of the make. Very enjoyable straight and even classier with water. Cask strength at 57.9%.

A much sought-after single malt with the massive peat-smoke that's typical of southern Islay - but also offering a dryness that turns it into a truly interesting dram.

Lagavulin is an intense, smoky-sweet single malt with seaweed flavours and a huge finish, aged in oak casks for at least sixteen years. At the old 43% strength.

This 18 year old expression of Laphroaig is made in limited quantities each year. A soft, sweet and spicy Islay peat smoke greets you when you first open the bottle. The immediate taste is an oak sweetness, from 18 years in the barrel. A faint hint of the sea can be detected, testimony to its time maturing on the remote island of Islay. Bottled at 48% ABV and non-chill filtered for a depth of taste and texture.

The Flora and Fauna series released 12 year old from the Speyside distillery, Linkwood. "A classic example of a relatively light and fragrant whisky that has real complexity and a gorgeous feel".

Score '94.5' Whisky Bible 2012.

This peaty malt won the top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards 2010, and also at the Malt Maniacs Awards in 2010, for the Best Peated Malt.

Longrow is the peated whisky brand from Springbank distillery. This Longrow CV (curriculum vitae) is made of 3 vintages, matured in 4 different oak types: 6 years old whisky from bourbon casks, 10 years old from port and rum casks, and 14 years old from sherry casks. This was blended to showcase the different Longrow characters.

The Macallan Fine Oak is triple cask matured in carefully selected European and American oak casks, which have previously held Sherry or Bourbon. This triple cask combination delivers an extraordinarily smooth, delicate yet complex Single Malt, matured at The Macallan distillery for a minimum of 12 years.

The 17-year-old predominantly features ex-bourbon maturation, with the addition of spirit that has been wholly matured in Spanish wood ex-sherry casks, predominantly Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso. This adds a subtle depth and complexity to the whisky, making for an outstanding after-dinner drink.

'95' Whisky Bible 2013.

As with the 17-year-old, this expression is married together, Old Pulteney matured in ex-bourbon wood with spirit from ex-sherry wood casks. The crucial difference, however, is that the ex-sherry wood in this case is made from American Oak (mostly Fino sherries). This adds yet another layer of complexity, depth and character to this truly superb malt whisky.

Old Pulteney 21 Year Old has been voted 2012 World Whisky of the Year by the prestigious "Jim Murray's Whisky Bible." Scoring a record equalling '97.5' points out of 100, it is only the third time that a single malt has ever won the prestigious award.

The Port Cask Matured Whisky is aged in an ex Port, French oak barrel. Some of them reputedly contained premium port which was 50 years old or even older. These hand-selected barrels have been cut down to 100 litre (quarter cask) capacity. These quarter cask barrels produce an intense whisky of incredible character and flavour profile.

This is a hand-crafted, Single Cask, Cask Strength at 60% abv, single malt whisky, with no chill filtration or colouring and is individually labelled with barrel and bottle numbers.

OveReem was warded 'overall winner' of the Australian section, at the World of Whisky event in Sydney 2012.

The fine single malt whisky is finished to impart a generous flavour of subtle complexity. Hand crafted to perfection, the unique distillation and maturation produces a single malt whisky in which the Penderyn style is enhanced by rich tones of dry Sherry. This fine whisky captures the true spirit of Wales.

This expression, Powers John’s Lane Release, celebrates the origin of the Powers whiskey tradition and provides a glimpse of the whiskey style that made Powers famous. Using a pot still distillate which is true to the original style of John’s Lane, the whiskey has been matured for not less than 12 years, mainly in 2nd fill American bourbon casks, with a small contribution of distillate which has been matured in Olorosso sherry butts.

The result is a Single Pot Still whiskey of outstanding flavour and complexity which provides a fitting tribute to the spiritual home of one of Ireland’s most loved whiskies.

Named Irish Whiskey of the year 2012.

Redbreast is a 12-year-old, single aged pure pot-stilled whiskey that's been triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills from malted and unmalted barley mashes. It might be the finest Irish whiskey available. Picked up the top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards 2010, and was named as Irish Whiskey of the year by Jim Murray in the Whisky Bible 2010, with a score of 96 points.

Full of aroma and flavour, Redbreast 12 Year Old benefits from a strong contribution from distillates which have matured in Oloroso sherry casks, giving it its trademark Christmas cake character.

Highlighting the latitudinal position of the distillery - one of the most remote and northerly at its rugged home on the Isle of Skye, Talisker 57° North has no age statement. Drawn from 100% American oak refill casks, it has a purity which emphasises Talisker’s unique and intense distillery character.
