Bowmore, 18 yr old, Deep & Complex, Single Malt Scotch Whisky

700 ml, 43% abv, Scotland (Islay)

The 18 year old was launched in January of 2007 to replace the 17 year old.  According to the distillers, this expression contains a higher percentage of Oloroso & Pedro Ximenez Sherry cask-matured whisky. 18 Years Old, 43% abv, a masterful combination of ripe fruit, dark chocolate and Islay smoke.

“The nose is Classic Bowmore fruit, malt and subtle peat, with a lovely muted Sherry influence. Diluting it with a drop of water makes this Bowmore give its best. A mellow mahogany colour, this delightful dram has caramel, fruit and smoke aromas to complement the chocolate hints on the palate”
