A 22 year old small batch bottling of Littlemill by Cadenhead’s, distilled 1992, bottled in 2014. Matured in ex-Bourbon hogsheads.
Nose : A little oily to begin with, then becoming much more typical Littlemill with lots of cream and lemony notes. Buttered brown bread toast, faint eucalyptus and buttered sweetcorn.
Palate : Heavier than the nose suggests, but very fruity. Some brambles, lychees and hints of basil, coriander and dry vermouth.
Finish : Lots of oily, waxy fruitiness that lasts and lasts.
