Mackmyra’s latest seasonal whisky release is here, Grönt Te, ( Green Tea ) Grönt Te is a Swedish single malt whisky that has been finished in a newly saturated Ex-Oloroso casks. A blend of oloroso wine and the finest vintage Japanese green tea leaves (Japanese tea specialists Yuko Ono Sthlm) have seasoned the casks, providing a subtly spicy and flavourful whisky with a fruity and floral finish. Specifically, Mackmyra used Yame Sencha, Yame Gyokuro, Kaoribo Hojicha and Yame Matcha Shinobi teas for this expression.
