Released in April 2016, this Kurayoshi Pure Malt 18 year old whisky is a boutique Japanese whisky produced by the Matsui distillery. Bottled at 50% abv it is Scottish in style, with a complex and deep flavour. Sweet and spicy with malt overtones and an elegant finish of smoke.

NOSE : Malt flavor of puffed cereal and bread, a little of lemon peel, hint of dried grass and acridity.
PALATE : Honey, lemon, candy taste, and malty flavor. Then coming with spices and dried straw flavor.
FINISH : Small amount of sweetness that makes the reminiscent sense of wheat feeling, vanilla cream reminiscent, slight smoky.
