Named after a small isle in the Shetland Islands. The whisky (which comes from an un-known distillery in the Speyside region) is aged in “first-use Sherry oak casks”, and they are then taken up to the remote island of Muckle Flugga to age for another year, (overwintered) The wet cool and windy conditions of Northern Shetland accelerate maturation over the winter months, before being returned to the mainland for bottling. “The most northerly whisky to be aged in Scotland” All bottles are individually numbered.
