APPEARANCE : Rich amber, with polished copper tones.
NOSE : Immediate strawberry jam, bags of jelly babies, then a richly malty heart with malt loaf and Dundee cake. With water, sweeter (rich fresh fruit aromas, as in a village fruit shop) and a hint of almond oil.
PALATE : Oily. Fruity, with a silky cereal smoothness.
FINISH : Soft and biscuity, as with old-fashioned fig rolls. Lovely late warmth.
