Produced at the Brauerei Locher, close to the border with Liechtenstein, the Säntis Malt team has combined whisky matured in its signature beer casks (the site’s brewing history dates back to the 1800s) with liquid aged in a variety of wine barrels for this release, Edition Himmelberg.

Nose : Hops, hops, hops. Then stewed pears, blackberries and nutmeg.
Palate : Fresh pears this time, along with vanilla custard, cinnamon, ginger and an earthy snuff.
